Overview

PALM Charter High School is a tuition-free public charter school open to all Horry County students, grades 9-12.   We offer a technology-based blended learning environment leading to a South Carolina high school diploma.  You can read more about our academic program under the “Academics” tab.  PALM Charter High School is chartered by Horry County Schools but operates under the direction of a separate board of directors.  We follow Horry County School’s academic calendar for attendance days and holidays.

Setting us apartech expo cart from other schools is our motorsports program.  Students must take classes in Collision Technology, Motorsports, and Graphics.   These programs allow students to gain hands on experience working on a variety of racecars and other projects which include bodywork, welding, paint, and graphics.   Graphics courses offer students access to industry gold standard FlexiSIGN© software, used for banners, vinyl, and car graphics.   Additionally, students have the option to earn I-CAR certification®, an industry wide body of standards for car repair.
