Happy Friday Everyone!! Its been a great Spirit Week here at PALM and we are so excited for the big race tomorrow in Florence! Good luck to Tyler Gryb, Mr. Miller and Mr. Hicks as they race for the trophy! A huge Congratulations to Jeremy Williams on his Gold medal performance in Customer Service at the South Carolina SkillsUSA competition. He has qualified to attend the Nationals in Atlanta in June. Please consider running if you have an interest in serving the great students here at PALM. https://forms.gle/vtY136oYnV6B3dBX6 On March 31st at 9 am our students will all participate in a Think Fast assembly. Think Fast Interactive is a comprehensive prevention intervention program that employs an evidence-informed approach. The program utilizes a trivia-based game show format to deliver relevant, fact-based information on personal safety issues and messaging, including highway safety and prevention measures for current and future South Carolina teenage drivers. This is a grant funded program provided by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety. Please be sure your children are completing their Friday work this week. Teachers will not be on Campus next Friday so no students can be here either. Have a great weekend! Jeffrey Peterson

Hello All, PALM is available to provide help to those affected by the wildfires over the weekend. We have spoken with those that have been displaced and they are safe as of this morning. I will excuse any absences that are a result of this event and will work with families to help make the transition back to school smooth and seamless. Monday (3/17) - (St. Patrick's Day) Wear Green/Dress like a leprechaun Day Tuesday (3/18) - Anything but a backpack Day Wednesday (3/19) - Retro Day (Dress in any decade) Thursday (3/20) - Dress like a racecar driver Day/ Pep Rally Saturday Chicora Car Club Show at PALM School Race at Florence Speedway. Mr. Miller, Mr. Hicks and student Tyler Gryb will all be racing! Come out and support them and have lots of fun With the weather getting nicer, please remind your children about driving safely and respecting the peace of our neighbors here on West Cox Ferry Rd. Pre-registration is open for next school year. Please share the word with any prospective students and families. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

SENIOR PARENTS Please send senior baby pics to Mrs. Gaddy at egaddy@palmmotorsports.com Please order Caps and Gown at lowcountrygrad.com ASAP A huge thanks to Kathy and Mike Gentner! After coming in Wednesday to serve our kids nachos, they asked to pay off ALL the student lunch debt. This amount was over $400 and now no students or families owe anything!! We are grateful for their support Please be diligent with your children about vaping both in and out of school. Like other schools, we have had an uptick in these incidences recently. We will be aggressive in monitoring this and there will be consequences. There will be a Board meeting Dec 16th at 6pm. The SIC will meet directly before at 4:30. We would love to see some new faces.
